Paper Tiger

Let me take this moment to assail Hilary Clinton. I saw a brief clip of Ms. Clinton quickly sniping President Bush regarding the latest round of the NSA wiretapping controversy. I’m trolling the net to find a transcript or at least some reporting on her comments made today in what looked to be some sort of informal press conference. I cannot find a single news story about Hilary’s latest dressing down of the Bush Administration, and I am left with the question: Where is Hilary on these issues of national security? What is her policy on the wiretapping of terrorists for example? Who would Know?

No one knows the answer to these questions. No one on earth can honestly ascertain what this woman’s stance is on almost issue that she routinely snipes at the Bush administration over.

As far as the her position in any kind of political spectrum…again, who knows? Is she a centrist? An independent, a Republican, a Democrat? I don’t think she even knows. Like the most cynical of politicians, rather than having a core set of values that hold true in fair weather or foul, she would rather indulge her own desire for power, and only choose her stance when and if it is politically wise to do so.

So you're bitching about the fact you have nothing on Hilary to bitch about?

Oh there's plenty to "bitch about" vis a vis Hilary and there will me much more to come as her presidential candidacy emerges from underground. My main point was that Hilary Clinton is a political expediency driven chameleon who has frustratingly nebulous and ever-changing positions on issues of national security and beyond. I don't need to find news stories about her to know that much. As a Democrat who voted for the Iraq war, she will have to figure out how to make peace with the 50 percent or so of Democratic voters that compose the wacky Move On.org-Michael Moore-America is Evil wing of the party other wise known as the far-left.

I wonder anonymous, are you a member of the far-left or are you a Democrat with a brain? Perhaps you are even a centrist voter or not even a voter at all. As is the case with Hilary, it is difficult if not impossible to know where you stand on issues. Luckily for the American people, Clinton has an actual voting record, which she will either run away from or highlight depending on which way the political wind is blowing.

Hillary is very much a Liberal, although she might have moderated her positions on certain issues with age.

Hard to tell, since she's never been asked a probing question by the MSM.

She once advocated that children should have the legal right to sue their parents. I doubt she still would embrace that view, particularly if it was Chelsea doing the suing.

My guess is that, like most Democrats, the campaign trail will be the last place we will be able to get much of a sense of what Hillary actually believes.

Her Senate voting record isn't very instructive, either, given the fact that she's voted with Republicans more than people expected. She's being very dishonest if she is not voting her conscience.

If elected, (and that's a stretch) I don't even think she'll be quite the hard core Lefty because she's intelligent enough to realize that the country is conservative at its core. For Hillary to serve two terms she'll have to be extremely moderate in her first term.

Of course, that would leave plenty of time for her to show her fangs.

But here's my question: What has the woman done in her life that qualifies her to be my President?

She was a attorney. Okay. Big deal. I could have taken the LSAT.

She was the First Lady of Arkansas. She presided over the Arkansas public educational system, which, during her tenure was consistently ranked somewhere between #47-#50.

As America's First Lady, she presided over the biggest near-boondoggle in our nation's history: The attempt to nationalize health care. It was such a fiasco, the Democrats still won't talk about it.

Hillary Clinton is a complete lightweight.
